FNIRSI DPS-150 DC Power Supply Variable 30V 5A, 4-Digit IPS Flip Display

So far so good for reverse electrolysis with Titanium electrodes in mild sulfuric for gold recovery. Super portable and great protection built into it. True that it will only run up to the input voltage and amps but plugs away great and protects itself well from problems. Not sure how long it will last yet , that is to be determined but at this price its great. I would pair it with a cuktech 65watt USB C block. I use the little cuktech to power just about all my stuff. I will update maybe later about long term durability but Fnrisi stuff seems well made. I have three of there products.

About 10 years ago, I made a diy box out of a DROK adjustable output buck converter and used an external power supply to do 0-55v, 0-10a and it was a great little box. However it was not very portable, and it was obvious I made it in my garage.This, is an amazing little power supply. It doesn't hit the higher voltage that I would use for PoE testing, but it does do plenty for 99% of my other uses like charging various diy battery packs or testing for bad power supplies. This fits perfectly in my portable kit on my backpack, tests exceptionally accurate for it's size and price, and I love that

Being an amateur tinkerer, I rarely need the precision and power of my bench power supply. This little unit, together with a PD charger, allowed me to move the bench supply from my work table to the shelf.Another advantage is portability. I can just grab both and take them wherever I need them. I've used it quite a lot by now and haven't had any issues with it. For my kind of projects, it turned out to be a very handy piece of gear.

Very small and portable. Good quality. Be aware that the maximum voltage and wattage is limited by the input voltage and wattage. For example, I use my PC charger (USB C) as a power source. This limits me to 20V. A different power supply would allow for 30V. Consider upgrading to the optional power adapter to achieve voltages over 20V.

Don’t let its compact design fool you - this little device is great! I use it to test different handheld game consoles, full size consoles and retro toys - none of which typically need more than 12V, so it’s perfect for that application. The screen looks amazing and the information it provides is useful. I really like FNIRSI tools and this is one of my favorites and most used. I love how small it is - it doesn’t get in the way on the bench like larger units do and it performs way above expectation. It is also very simple to use. Personally, I think this is all the power supply any electronics

I didn't know how useful a power supply could be until I had one. This seems to do everything I need for now, and it's really small and fits on my small desk. The UI is a little overwhelming at first, but not hard to use once you understand it. The memory function is great, and the display is awesome. I haven't used the software on my workstation yet.For the price, I can't think of anything else I'd add.

This thing is so cool. I was able to get it up to near 20 volts, the power had no noticeable issues, and the included cables are pleasantly chonky. Ran perfectly cool, off of a standard laptop charger brick. The short protection alone is gonna be a game changer for me lol.

I bought this for my daughter that's in school. Out of the box the unit was fine and worked better than anticipated. Very nice form factor and easily packable. It powered all of her electronics that she needed it to. That being said, after about 2 months, the unit started having sporadic issues and the power output was drastically reduced. Still worked ... kindof ... but after the return window was over and couldn't return it for another one. As much as I liked it the first two months, I can't say this is worth it as it's still $50ish and should of lasted longer than 2 months.
