This is a great desktop power supply. The price is fantastic, the current limiting is great. It’s pretty easy to use. I think it is as good as you could hope for st this price point.It’s very lightweight, which made me nervous as I’m old-school and judge supplies by their weight lol. Habit from before switch-mode supplies took over.I’ve not been able to get any measurable noise out of it under load (let me qualify that… testing AC across the leads to see if there is measurable ripple). I had to read the directions to learn how to work the buttons, and I have often said reading is for nerds. Other than the reading part this power supply works great. What is not in the manual is that you should not use a 24v power supply to charge a 3.9v battery, it turns into a blasting cap somehow, probably via instant alchemy.

Great bang for buck HIGH POWER power supply
I bought the 30A variant for running our robots (30V 30A full 900W). It's very hard to find such power supplies on Amazon. It works no issue. The OCP is very sensitive, which is kind of bad for our application (motors have high transients), but I just disable the OCP and everything works.It looks pretty nice and professional. The display refresh rate is limited. At max power the fan has a tidbit of noise.In general pretty good bang for buck

Great form, fit and function,
I got the SPS-3030 unit yesterday and set it up with ease! Used it for two projects I had been working on but waited for this unit to complete the build and test them. Love the ability to set the OCP and monitor the projects current draw. Looking forward to many other projects and repairs knowing I can now adjust voltage and current very precisely! I like the wide flat footprint of this unit, so I can stack other test equipment on top.
