Bought this to power my Radioditty DB20-G mobile radio to use as a base station. I got this unit because of the front power port. The radio comes with a power port “cigarette lighter” plug. I plugged it in, powered it on, turned on the radio. The meter showed 13.8 V. Unfortunately, I was unable to transmit due to waiting on a few things to test the SWR, but for now it seems to work just fine. Would recommend.Update: I transmitted on the higher power frequency which were approximately 18 - 19+ watts output according to the meter. The amps stayed below 4 amps. Added more pictures. So good to have a stable power supply. Was kinda skeptical when I saw how small and lite weight. But I put it through its paces. Works like a champ. The pyramid in the picture is now a stand by. It needs a new pot for the power regulator.

This is a great power supply. Quiet and powers everything I want to power. I highly recommend this product and the price is very reasonable.

Fit and finish 10/10This is a well built power supply from the outside. It appears to do what it's supposed to do without any fanfare or fluff.It does exactly what it said it would do, put out a steady 13.8v.Using this for the Retevis MA1 to setup inside before installing into my vehicle. This would also do well with a Ham or GMRS base station.I could be wrong, but my gut is telling me this will last a very long time based on the build quality and materials used.

I am returning to Amateur Radio and my Ham Power Supply was running 12 Security Camera's that did not need that power. I am using this unit to power 9 Security cameras and about 6 or 7 IR Illuminators! Surprisingly, it is drawing less than 2 amps in the Day time and less than 5 amps at night (Not, IR Illuminators turn off automatically when there is daylight. This unit is supposed to support Up To 30 amps... I never like to use more than 66% load on these unit's. One thing I do not like, is that the newer Power Supplies use Switching to control the Voltage (which is why it is not doing ham). U

Overall: very good quality and performance in this power supply. I have only been using it for about two weeks, but it is working quite well as the D.C. power supply for a dual-band VHF-UHF amateur radio. The only reason that I am not giving this five stars is that the unit was shipped to me directly from the manufacturer/distributor in just its basic on-the-shelf box. Fortunately, the unit itself arrived without any apparent damage, but the box containing the power supply was obviously not a "shipping box" and it was damaged in transit. this power supply has operated in my ham shock for two years. I’ve had no no Noise or hmmm on my HF or VHF radios from the power supply I do not believe you can beat this power supply for the money. I would highly recommend you to give it a try

Works great for my Kemwood Mt-V71 which is in my emergency to go bag. We have just had a close call with a fire so it is ready to evacuate if we have to again. Also tested with my Yaesu 991a and worked great.KM6DVT
