Works well at a great price
I bought this to help balance and charge my 2016 Prius C-type battery modules (not for the faint of heart-- make sure you do your homework before attempting this), and I have to say this power supply exceeded my expectations. It has a constant current mode and a constant voltage mode, but the interesting and convenient feature is that it switches automatically between these two modes according to the load you attach. If you set the max current to 2 amps, and the max voltage to 8.0 volts, it will deliver 2 amps while the battery voltage is at 7.7, 7.8, 7.9 and then when it reaches 8.0 volts it

QA issues ?
I’ve been using this power supply for a couple of weeks now pulling an average between 4 and 6 amps continuously.Voltage accuracy has been very good, no fluctuating of voltage very stable. When running long tests output remains consistent.NOTE: although the unit was an excellent choice and performed very well it did fail one week in after turning it on in the morning it started to fluctuate voltage and would cut off, when I turn it off and back on lights briefly comes on then shuts down. Although I need a second bench p/s I held off for now waiting on the dual p/s from nice-power hoping for a

Great tool for fixing power tool batteries
Wish I got one of these sooner! I’m trying to repair a Power tool battery and this is such a handy tool. I can balance charge the pack without having to completely diss assemble. It took me a minute to get used to the adjustable part, the fine adjustment is limited so if you don’t start in a middle position you may run out of adjustment and will have to re do the other setting. It’s not a big deal, maybe it’s normal for this kind of tool. I’m not much of an electronics expert but I was able to use this and like it very much. It’s also one of those very versatile tools for tons of other uses. T
