George Foreman Foreman GR18 Special Edition Super Champ, White

I have 3 different sized GF grills and use them several nights a week. They are all several years old but have held up well.One finally quit working. It's the one I used the most. I couldn't find the same model so went with the 'new generation' of GF grills. I order quite a bit through Amazon and didn't anticipate a problem with them......and I didn't.The grill, however, was more square shaped that the older oval shaped one that died. The older one would hold 2 very large hamburger patties but the newer one, being square, would hold one large patty or one large steak.We used it once to cook 2

We looked at them all. We read the reviews. We thought it would be nice to put the inserts in the dishwasher, but some people said those units didn't heat as well. We were ready to spend more money for a fancier unit. We finally decided on this one. It's big enough for the two of us. It works like a champ. We have had sausage patties, steaks, pork chops, hamburgers. All were done to our taste in minutes with minimal fat and great taste. We couldn't be more satisfied.

I got this grill as I am only one person and needed a small grill. I think it works well but I do have one comment about cleaning it. You cannot remove the inner parts to wash and you have to wash them with a sponge or a wet paper towel while the inner grill part is inside the grill. I would have preferred to wash them in the sink.

And the WHITE develops a severe scorching yellow to the out side edges NOT at all removable with eventhe best to cleaners.

When I got this I was unsure about it, but now that I've tried it I'm hooked. As someone that has always had questionable cooking skills, in the past I didn't cook much. Having lived mostly on prepared meals. Now with this I can cook, and well. I can make perfectly cooked steaks, hamburgers and chicken. Just thaw the meat, put a little seasoning on it and cook. Plus clean up is a snap, takes less time to clean the grill than it does to wash my plates. And it's great for someone like me who lives alone. Perfect for one person. Would totally recommend this to anyone else.

I love this grill, however, I ordered it in black... and it came white. I'm really bummed about it, but probably won't send it back because I'm lazy.

A third party has posted an incorrect photo of the same size model with a bun warmer plastic top (GR18BWI) discontinued; the model for sale is GR18 without the bun warmer and in white (GR18PL is silver). This is a great grill. I've cooked steak, lamb, and fish on it and it has come out great! It cooks food super fast and it is pretty easy to clean up. Overall it's a good buy for the price.
