Look, I was a huge Monopoly fan when I was a kid, but I had never played any version of Monopoly Junior. I don't know what the "standard" version is ilke, what types of properties there are, etc., but if your family is even remotely as in love with the Heelers the way MY family is, you HAVE to get this for your young children. Game play doesn't last nearly as long as typical Monopoly. You play with rules that state that you either buy the property you land on (if unowned), or pay the owner rent (the same as the purchase price). This was great for my older 4 year old! He has tried regular Monopoly in the past (I knew age wise it wasn't appropriate but he wanted to try) it was just too much and would end with him frustrated.The game play is perfect for him. The only money is One Dollarbucks so he only needed to count as many as he needed. He loved being able to buy the spots from his favorite episodes, Rug Island, Uncle Stripes Pool, etc. And the Chattermax cards would throw in some excitement but not be detrimental even if it was a negative one. (Only having to pay 2 Dollar bucks, etc.)I do wish the figures were sligh

My grandson's loved this game. They are five and seven - everybody loved playing, even the adults too!

Looks just like the pictures, it's a very watered down version of monopoly to make it playable for 4 year olds. My daughter loved it, but realized too quickly that the one who concentrates the most expensive places can easily win. I like the one dollar bills, so she can practice handling money in a very easy way.

Simplified version of monopoly that's very easy to explain and play with 7 year old that loves Bluey (we both do), without losing their attention or being too complicated for them to understand.Rules are easy to explain, and the game will not drag on.Wish there were less cardboard in the tokens, but no other complaints.

Bought this game for 5 year old grandson. He loved it and learned how to play very quickly. I thought they did a great job keeping the spirit of the original game, but making it easier for the younger players. I thought that the Bluey version was very cute and fun. The only issue is the tokens are cheap and hard to keep track of, especially with young kids.
