This is a very high-quality knife set and I am impressed. I'm not a pro and I cook mainly for myself, but I'm trying to learn new recipes and attempt new meals. I love my knew knife set! They cut so well, too. They are visual appealing, and multi functional. I loved that the Wellstar company also put in a little thank you card. That gives it a personal feel. The other reviews for this knife set are spot on. As soon as you touch them, you can tell these are good quality knives. They all have a nice feel to them, they have a good weight and balance, and for the most part, are sharp. The serrated blades in this set are the knives small weakness. They're not bad, they feel nice and they do cut, albeit not as smooth as I'd like. I just feel cutting wise, they're more on par with a budget set than with the straight edge blades they accompany. These are super sharp. I can cut the wing off of a cardboard box like it's warm bitter! Love the knife block too. These are comfortable to use and are durable the blade doesn't wobble or bend and the knives are easy to clean. I have noticed if you don't dry them they can leave a spotted texture on the knife that doesn't come off. Make sure to dry them!
