The white base with black screen edges looks modern and clean, definitely better than having white trim around the screen, which can look outdated.The screen is larger than I expected (in a good way), and it appears to be glare-free. Was looking for a low price high res monitor for the Ubuntu linux system as the fonts aren't as clear as windows no matter what you do. Works great, 10 point font at 200% scale perfectly clear and good size. Monitor is a bit wobbly, but it's OK. Color is great.

Monitor is great. Not the first of this type that I have bought. The 1-star is because the box delivered was previously opened and the contents unpacked though care was taken repacking the parts. However, the screw to attach the baseplate to the monitor stand was missing making the monitor stand utterly useless.Monitor was bought directly from Amazon. Obviously a return that was not checked for quality control.The 1-star is for Amazon.Monitor was useful only because was mounted on an wall-mount arm and the base mount was not used. This is a big monitor with a very clear picture. It does not have speakers. It took me a little while to learn how to use the screen adjustment. It's like a joy stick.I do not like the fixed height of the screen. You can angle it up or down, but you cannot raise or lower it vertically.I am not used to a monitor this big so still getting used to it.
