    Ordered twice, different boxes

    The first time I ordered the description was high carbon German stainless steel with a laser etched Damascus pattern. It was also described as having a hardness of 56 plus or minus 2. The picture shown was not the current picture. Instead, it was the picture for the higher priced 67-layer Damascus steel set with a hardness of 61.5 plus or minus 2. Because I wanted them to have a 67-layer Damascus 8" chef's knife to replace the matching 8" Damascus etched knife in the set I ordered this knife separately.When the set arrived, it was shipped in an envelope instead of a box, so the case was dented

    Very sharp and versatile

    I have had these for a while now and using them. I have had no issues at all with rest, the grips are very comfortable and firm. I have found them to be durable and a great value for the money. They maintain their sharpness and cut very nicely. I would recommend hand wash only.

    Don’t let the aesthetics of this set fool you!I didn’t think it was sharp, but my daughter tested slicing paper! It is sharp and cut beautifully. Beauty and function. The set was delivered promptly . It’s elegantly packaged as well as aesthetically pleasing. The knives have a beautiful pattern. But that’s what Italians do , everything with style!
