The holographic design against the black (almost carbon fiber looking) is very tasteful and I’m super impressed with MSI just for that aesthetic alone. The main reason you would be considering this over something cheaper is for the per-pin OCP on the 12v-2x6 connector for preventing fires. As of the time of me writing this, there aren't too many brands that have come out with their version of this on the PSU side of things. I think maybe asrock is the only other one currently. For other solutions to preventing fires, there's ampinel and thermal grizzly but its a little device you connect to the GPU cable and there's also the thermalprotect cable from corsair but I was mostly interested in a PSU side solution with per-pin readings.
