The multi award winning strategy game Hansa Teutonica is back – in a “Big Box” edition including the base game and all expansions. In the game players attempt to increase their standing as merchants in the Hanseatic League by gaining prestige points in various ways. For instance, they can try to establish a network of Counting Offices in new Hansa cities by occupying an entire trade route between two cities – but before that happens, player markers can also be displaced by other players.

Players may also aim to develop their trading skills, improving their abilities throughout the course of play. With only two actions per turn and a variety of contested opportunities, every turn is equally quick and strategically demanding. Hansa Teutonica is a highly interactive strategy game, as players block and push each other each turn – but it also gives cunning players the chance to put being block

    Weird but great

    Phenomenal game for 4-5 players, reasonably quick and straightforward for a hobby Euro, and with that old-school Euro player interaction. Doesn’t look like much but don’t underestimate it, has been a hit with everyone I’ve played it with.

    The nicest mean game ever

    I've never had so much fun laughing with friends as we screwed each other out of trade routes for points, making up our own little stories for doing so along the way. What may seem like a dry as dust euro out of the box, and a fair bit of time needed to explain the rules/actions/purpose of the game, quickly accelerates once you start playing to one of the best euro board game experiences ever. Interactive, thought provoking, just enough complexity, and tight mechanics. What more do you want from a euro?

    Great game with endless possibilities.

    I rarely post reviews but I really wanted to take the time to review this game because it is just that good! This is one of the best games we have ever played and we play a lot of strategic board games. It's always challenging, with so many possible combinations and strategies. You have to be always strategizing your own game as well as blocking the game of others. Great game that will keep you playing without ever getting "old"

    Good Game but Quality and Seller Issues

    Bought a used copy from Amazon advertised Like New in original packaging for $10 cheaper. It was not and an entire punchboard was missing. I felt burned and noticed the old version was on ebay for $15 but missing pieces. Despite the devious idea I wanted to return it as received and order a new one from FiveBoyz. Shipped on time but a corner of the box came unglued and there was a small tear. All pieces accounted for. Game is a lot of fun and there is plenty of hours packed into this box but despite the components looking great they feel light and cheap and the box is falling apart. Pegasus di
