Quality knives. Extremely sharp. If you're looking for an awesome knife set, look no further. These knives are not for the faint of heart. They are heavy and well constructed. The finger hole in the blades make them easy to handle and balance. The carry case that they come in isn't very nice, but I didn't purchase them for that. I store them in my kitchen on a magnetic block. The shears are awesome too. High leverage and equally as sharp. Go buy these, as you won't be disappointed.

Hawt-damn these things are stout. I am WAY more impressed than I thought I would be. I love the way they look and so does my inner child. Some of the 'carbon coating' (I hope) rubbed off from the dimples a bit on the first handwash, but most of it clung on after I edged, honed and oiled the blades and handles. The handles are real wood! Nice too. The honing tool is rough, but I have a nice one that'll keep these vikings tools sleek. I am pleased with my purchase and look forward to abusing the crap out of them. 10/10 would buy again for myself and a friend.Note: I am a large dude with large ha

Over all please, hold their eage well, sharp, ready to use. Comes with everything you need to start, the steel sharpening rod is OK, but you really need a muck longer one. Otherwise it's a great starter set.

Smooth cutting!
Very nice blades, hefty, weighted, sharp, balanced and easy to slice through meats. The scissors are not as great and I haven't bothered with the sharpener either. The bag they store in can be a little awkward to roll up and thats mostly due to the various shapes and sizes of the items inside. It hangs on a wall in the kitchen from the handle.
