Bought this in 2018. I may have reviewed it right away. So this is an "After Six Years Of Use" review. I wanted to mount it in an ammo can, so I moved the fuse to the front, and moved the rectifier and heat sink to the side of the unit. Then I mounted it in an ammo can. I had to file off the top of the fuse holder and remove some plastic from the + and - connectors on the front panel; I had to do that in order to close the lid of the ammo can. This is a review of the Pyramid PS9KX 12V, 5amp Power Supply. Made in China but built like a tank (the housing is made of steel as you might expect. It has a 12V Cigarette lighter receptacle plus a set of screw terminal (+/-) connectors. I use it mainly to program settings for dashcams b/c I hate having to dismount them or break my neck to view them on windshields - usually in either very hot or cold vehicles at that.
