However, the installation seemed straightforward—the workers had it installed in less than an hour, and the fit was perfect.It works very well and looks phenomenal. The suction is strong, yet the noise level is surprisingly minimal. This "chimney style" 30" range hood in black powdercoat finish is good looking and a good value at $135. I'm using it in a kitchen remodel with other black appliances and it is all looking very sharp.The flex-duct that comes with the unit is not what my contractor prefers to use, so he is using 6" hard duct.
