I bought this keyboard because I had two generic keyboards from when I bought my computer. Both worked fine, but one had keys that sticked (not good for gaming,) and the other one was too clicky and loud, (not great for other people,) as I have my computer in a small room, and when I play games its annoying when other people are trying to watch TV. When it comes to keyboards, I like the feel of keys sinking in, the sound of clicking, and a full range of keys with a num-pad included. This fits all those points with the added benefit of syncing with my Razer mouse, allowing customization of keys in certain modes, and being very responsive.All said, I do a lot of work on a keyboard, so I don't tend to game using one. This keyboard is really nice. It's actually quieter and flatter than my previous membrane keyboard, if not a liiiitle mushy. And the per-key RGB, while the "16.8 million colors" is a little misleading (It's true, but that just means it has a normal color wheel and not like 7 pre-made colors), does look really nice.As for the complaints I see in other reviews, 1: the spyware. I know mechanical keyboards are the "gamers" keyboard, but I really don't get it. This is an ergonomic keyboard, which makes it a bit less noisy (honestly, it is just as load as any mechanical keyboard I have ever used), however I still wouldn't suggest it as a work environment keyboard.
