All-in-all, it's a great range hood. My only complaint is the LED light. It's not bright AT ALL. It's not something that helps with cooking. More like something you'd leave on at night as a night light.
The item was as I expected . Old school buttons that will LAST for YEARS. The LED light could be brighter. It looks great and works fine. As for the fan, I'm not sure of the sones rating, or the CFM , but it is VERY QUIET. A very good upgrade for any RV or travel trailer. It looks as if my 2017 Coachmen Apex Nano would have came stock from the factory with this vent hood fan, but it didn't. I installed it myself.
So far so good, got it In today and hooked it which was really easy to install. Its a very quiet motor and I have a middle aged female irritation with unnecessary noises, this one i can handle. The light is a pale blue led, i wish it was brighter but overall we are good with it.
Like that it is not as tall as the original hood in our travel trailer. It's also 2 inches wider than the original but it actually fits the opening better. The light could be a little brighter but it is sufficient.
Exactly what I needed and ordered
First; no wiring diagram. How simple would it would be to tell us how this is wired. There are 3 wires one is a ground and is screwed into the vent. I did not use this wire. There were a black wire and a red-ish wire. The black went to the black (hot) from the RV and the red went to the white (common). The fan and light work.The fan is a lot louder than the Furrion my friend’s RV has. It is not as loud as the blasting one I removed. This fan is also very weak. For the sound it puts out one might expect it to really be pulling air, but it does not.The light is weak. I thought putting in a stron
Only a week after installed, the motor quit working. We kept the hood and replaced the motor.
Only light use to this summer but so far works well and was easy to install.
