Great purchase good features only thing, I would suggest is where you put your glass doesn't have a light to illuminate where to get ice or water from. Secondly the refrigerator control only work with the app you can't just open the door and work the interface. Other than that runs fine freezes like it should.

Every review about the bad ice maker is totally on mark. I love this fridge but they messed up the ice maker. They don’t have a fix for it and they have been using the same design for years. You can let the ice maker completely freeze up and do something else for ice or you can force defrost it. The fridge beeps the whole time and you will start out once a month and eventually get to weekly. Do Not Buy.

I really like it but it's the noisiest machine ever. It clunks all the time. If there are a few people over, it doesn't keep up on the ice. My sister has one just like mine and the ice maker has already went after only 3 years.

I give this refrig (similar unit) and Samsung Customer Service the absolute lowest review possible. The ice maker is dead after only two years and Samsung will not repair. Best go for another manufacturer. Suggest referring to Consumer Reports.

We've owned this refer unit now for 4 years. Mechanically- no issues, !!!!Aesthetics- about 4-5 months after delivery, the side paint started pealing and showing blots where the paint did not stick. It became blotchy. I spent hours, I literally mean HOURS on the phone. It started with Lowes (I'll never buy appliances from them again and NEVER believe their statement that the warranty covers everything.. If your into thawing the ice maker literally every month (or more) and dealing with the absolute worst customer service in the world WHILE trying to get them to fix a known issue be my guest. Otherwise move on to something else - LG or Maytag. Take 5 minutes to look up the information (recalls, service bulletins, etc...) before you do this. Samsung refrigerators are without a doubt the worst when it comes to the ice makers AND their cooling system.
