Solid reliable performance, added my third system
I live on a 5-acre property in Florida and it's a challenge to keep an eye on everything. These security camera systems are wonderful. I can run power cords and watertight boxes outside but camera wiring was always a problem. These systems make it easy. Great picture quality, great day and night viewing thanks to I.R.I don't let these systems know my IP address, I don't want them on the Internet because I don't want to provide an eye on my property to others. I have not used audio communications these provide because I don't need it. No experience with the company app either. Before installing

Hacked by my own “security”
Instead of their own dedicated app, this system uses Honestview, which immediately asked for my email address AND my email password upon registration. Obviously a huge red flag, but I was exhausted from other work by the time I was setting this up and entered it without thinking. That night as I slept, my email was hacked by someone in Vietnam, who used it to also gain access to my Facebook and square space accounts, using them to purchase a bunch of ads and domain names. With some work, I was able to get my money back from filing fraud claims, but they also got my Facebook account permanently

This is a great product. We can't believe the clarity even at night. Easy to set up. We would recommend this to anyone and this is the 3rd system we've purchased over 25 years, so we are familiar with these systems. Just remember that each camera needs a power source.
