I cannot recommend this camera enough and here is why:First and foremost, I’m a Sony girl when it comes to photography. I made the swap from Canon to Sony in 2023 and will never look back. So when reading this, take into consideration I’m a huge fan of Sony.In 2023, I purchased the a7iii and LOVED IT. I had some issues with auto focus in lowlight situations. Excellent camera for beginners and enthusiasts. with a Tamron lens, and the image quality is amazing. The colors look great, autofocus is strong, and the camera feels very reliable for photography and video.It does have many settings and options, so beginners may need some time to learn the camera properly. There is a learning curve, but once you understand the basics, it becomes very easy to get beautiful results.

This is my first professional camera I’ve purchased. I’ve used the canon 5d a lot 10 years ago so I didn’t have expectations. I am amazed about all the versatility and functionality it has. For me being new and a beginner the ease of use was surprisingly great. Ive held off of writing this review because I wanted to learn my way around this camera body and compare to my older one. Overall I love this one so much. The UI has much improved. The AF is lightning fast although in my experience it still misses from time to time but that could honestly be user error. Battery life is lacking a tiny bit but overall its not the end of the world. 10/10 from me
