This is exactly the kind of book I’ve been looking for!

This is exactly the kind of book I’ve been looking for. It’s well organized, easy to read, and very straightforward to follow. The stretching positions and routines are approachable without being overly complicated, making the program feel manageable from the very beginning.I especially like the way the author gradually increases the difficulty of the stretches from week to week. Rather than pushing you too hard at the start, the program allows you to build flexibility and confidence at a comfortable pace.Another great feature is the included QR code, which provides access to videos demonstrat

✨🧘 apparently being able to fold myself in half is not teaching experience 🧘✨

i’m extremely flexible.which, it turns out, makes me a slightly questionable person to explain stretching to somebody who isn’t.i’ve been doing pilates, yoga, gymnastics and dancing for basically my entire life. my relationship with stretching is therefore less “how do i do this?” and more “wait, where exactly are you feeling that?”because apparently telling someone to simply put their leg there is not instruction.noted.that’s why i wanted this book.i don’t need somebody to teach me how to stretch. i needed somebody to help me understand how to teach stretching to a person whose body has not s

Exactly What I Was Looking For

This is my honest review of Stretch Break: A Ten-Minute-a-Day Habit ($19.87).This book was exactly what I was looking for. As a very active senior, I want to stay strong, flexible, and mobile for as long as possible. I currently have a working farm where I raise chickens and dairy goats, and I also enjoy gardening, canoeing, and fishing once or twice a week. Staying active is an important part of my lifestyle. With the seasons changing and winter approaching, I know I won't be able to spend as much time outdoors. I want to maintain my fitness through the winter, and the foundation of my routine

A really good way to start your day

Many of these stretches are a really nice way to start your day. They activate your muscles and get the blood flowing and help prepare you for the day after laying down all night long. Often, as we lay down at night, we lay in a weird position or our pillow isn’t effective. These stretches are organized into groups so that you can concentrate on specific area or work your way through all of the stretches from head to toe. The instructions and the pictures in the book for the most part are very helpful so that you can quickly do the stretches without a lot of explanation or understanding. There

Stretch for Health

As I have gotten older I am trying to keep myself healthier and since I spend a lot of time at a desk, I want to improve my movement and keep my muscles in shape. Stretching is a topic I have had an interest in for some time, so I picked up this book by Sam Gach. who is a personal trainer certified in sports medicine. He devises a ten minute a day work habit designed to improve your mobility, relieve tension, and have life long health. This is a four week program that focuses on beginning the routine, building stamina, progressing in your workout, and then thriving as it becomes routine. Speci

Great for Building a Daily Stretching Routine

Stretch Break is a very approachable guide for anyone who wants to make stretching a regular part of their day without committing to a long workout. I started using the book as a quick morning routine, setting aside about ten minutes to work through the stretches before getting on with my day. The instructions are easy to follow, and I like that the routine feels manageable rather than overwhelming. It’s a nice reminder that even a short amount of time dedicated to mobility can fit into a busy schedule. The only minor improvement I would suggest is including a few more illustrations or visual e

very useful book

I've come to the conclusion that I need to stretch more...like a lot more. I'm terribly unbendy and it's really starting to affect my mobility. This stretch break book contains a multitude of simple stretches along with a plan to get started with daily stretching, which is very clearly needed. The stretches are simple the execute and very clearly illustrated with great instructions to make them easy to do. I can do many of the stretches at work during short breaks from sitting at my desk. I love that there is a QR code so you can watch videos of the stretches for even better clarity on how the

Practical, Approachable Stretching Guide That's Easy to Stick With

This book makes stretching feel genuinely doable rather than one more overwhelming wellness routine — breaking everything into a ten-minute daily commitment removes the excuse of not having time, and the exercises themselves are clearly explained with helpful illustrations rather than vague verbal descriptions. Following along didn't require any prior flexibility or fitness background. The organization is sensible, with routines grouped by area of the body or specific tension points, which made it easy to target a stiff neck or tight hips on a given day rather than working through a generic one
