The Silent Patient was incredibly interesting, and once I started it, I couldn’t put it down. The mystery kept me turning pages, and if I’m honest, part of me never fully believed Alicia did it. I wanted to believe she had been set up. I wanted her to be the victim.In many ways, she was.Rather than a helpless bird fallen from its nest, Alicia felt more like a flower slowly crushed beneath a stone—trapped, suffocating, and unable to grow. Just right pace and character build-up. The plot was great. I’ve never read a book like this, to be honest. There were enough characters that made sense to have in the story line that made it such a great read, but also kept you guessing the whole time. Highly recommend….you won’t be disappointed.

Where do I start ... thanks to Instagram, I found a new favorite author!!! Alex Michaelides, his writing captivates the reader instantly, the story-line is addictive, insightful and of course suspenseful, a little Agatha Christie like, yet Alex brings a blend of intense psychological twists and turns making every novel a real page turner! I bought them all, plus the audio read is fantastic, personally the English accent adds to each highly creative read. It was easy to read and I especially liked how the writer kept me guessing all the way to the end.There were so many things that just didn’t make sense until it all starts to become clear at the end. I don’t believe I would change anything about this book. It is definitely thrilling.I would definitely recommend this book. Especially for those who enjoy a bit of a thrilling mystery, with an unpredictable twist.
