    Great unit for the cost - would love to see less plastic touching the food!

    THIS item is my ultimate go to! I use it to make home made avacado oil mayo - puree my own plum jam - and emulsify any body butters I create for myself. My next test will be making my own healthy version of white chocolate. Highly recommend for the price point. My only dissapointment is the plastic on the base of the blade section. Often I'm using this with hot liquids and that is a no no with plastic. Please change this vitamix - people want less plastic in their products and I may switch to other units if I can't replace this with a fully stainless piece at some point. Thank you!!Durability

    Superb blender with amazing operating simplicity. Was in the market for a non-scratch blender for all the soups I love to cook and discovered this Vitamix jewel. Two speeds and an on/off button, that’s it. Simplicity at its best. No problem with the firmness of the blending attachment. Connects very well. Low setting is good enough for just about everything, but the high setting will definitely remind you that this is indeed a Vitamix. It pulverizes everything it touches. Easy to clean, easy to use, and very powerful, this is indeed a good piece of kitchen gear.

    Replaced my 5yr old cuisineart stick.

    Works great and easy to change heads. The one button operation is easier than the two button on cuisineart. Only wished that it came with a 700 ml mixing cup like the cuisineart did.

    High quality product

    I have used many immersion blenders and this one is the best. It has the right amount of power, and I found that I really did not need more than two speeds to complete all of the tasks that I use the Vitamix Immersion Blender for. I hope to eventually add this to my list of BIFL buy it for life products.

    I love this thing. I have used it quite often. The only reason I didn't give it a 5 star is because I have never had a home emersion blender, so I have nothing to compare it to.

    You need to get this immersion blender

    Love this immersion blender! I had a KitchenAid and it finally died. I replaced it with the Vitamix and it’s awesome. I actually like it better than my KitchenAid and I’m a KitchenAid fan, but I’d highly recommended everything about it. Great easy to clean blends and soups really well.
