I LOVE My Vitamix!!! I bought a Vitamix back in the 70s; it lasted for 40 plus years; I used it daily. I just recently upgraded to the Ascent V. I couldn't be more pleased. The versatile programs for preparing a variety of tasty concoctions are simple to do. The directions and symbols are uncomplicated. It is so easy to clean! In just a couple of minutes, it is ready to use again. It blends food beautifully .. great smoothies, soups, and dips..etc. I did buy the Stainless Steel container to use with it as I prefer using SS. I love it also. What do you want me to say? I use this everyday and have for almost a year now! It still works! It’s still great. It’s still my goto for all prep jobs. Smoothies, soups, ice cream, I’ve done it all with this and it is still running like the first day! Its powers through ice and raw carrots alike. Yes! It can be about as loud as a coffee grinder! But when your loved ones hear it, they know something great is about to happen. Slide this anywhere on your kitchen counter. Be careful not to place this under you cabinets unless they are higher because this tool is tall. Do we talk about the cleaning

I had ordered a less expensive Vitamix, initially, and was disappointed when comparing it to the one I'd had for 20 years. This one is very cool as it has the settings for a variety of foods like smoothies, soups, frozen desserts, etc. I'm spending a little more but I'm much happier with this model and I hope it works for me over the next 20 years.

This thing is a monster. I had an old Vitamix, but I burned up the motor trying to make almond butter (don't ask) so I had to get a new one. Anyway, we use our Vitamix daily and although they're obnoxiously expensive, they're worth it. So I decided to buy the most powerful one they offer and this is it (and it has had no trouble making almond butter). It's not exactly quiet (hence the title of this review), but I guess that's to be expected considering its power. This blender is probably the last one I will ever have to buy. It's a beast!! Handles everything with ease and cleanup is so easy. I have made mostly smoothies and hummus so far,but I am looking to do soups next. Luckily it barely fits under my upper cabinets for countertop storage,but for use I pull it out from under the cabinet of course. The noise doesn't really bother me,because I get the desired result so fast. It is only noisy for a couple of minutes tops.

Pros:- sturdy bottom part of the blender with simple attachment that does not require screwing or turning into proper position- simplicity of control panel- blade that you cannot cut yourself on- self-cleaning programCons:- as much as I like the simplicity of control panel, I don't like the menu icons that are very similar and it's hard to remember which one is for what program- also it takes too long for blender to boot up after turning on the main switch- to start blending I have to press the start button twice- thin plastic container that doesn't belong on expensive blender, hard to clean i

BUY IT! We love it! I got it as a Christmas present for my mom and let’s just say we will never use any other blender. Came back and purchased a second one for my godmother. They both absolutely love it! Quality is absolutely great! 100/10! Worth every penny!
