Correct size, shipped and arrived quickly. It took a few days for the seal to really settle in, but now it's set in there very well.I realize that this is all basic expectation for something advertised as a "Genuine OEM part", but given some of what's for sale on Amazon, it's worth noting that it IS in fact a genuine part (or at least that it fits like one, which is really what counts)

I bought this after an aftermarket gasket also sold here didn't work out for me because it had permanent creases from being folded for shipping. This one had a few creases, but the recommended heating process with a hair dryer got it back into shape within a few minutes, and then installation took only a minute or two. The fridge door now seals well. This was about $30 more than the aftermarket one, but it was definitely worth it to get the fridge back working.

BLUF: the gasket fits. I had to mold it into place with heat gun, as expected, but paid extra money for this because it said it was an actual Whirlpool part. There is no evidence on or in the box that it is in fact from whirlpool but that could be me just being particular about what I paid for. That being said, it was easy to install, mold into place and seems like it’ll do the job just fine. It’s still a good value for the money but I hope it’s as durable as the actual OEM door seal that lasted almost 8 years.

I purchased this to replace a gasket that was falling apart. It was relatively easy to install, but once it was installed, it was as if there were no magnet at all -- it wouldn't hold the door closed.I put the old, ratty gasket back on and it held okay. Returning this item.

I'm so happy I ordered the OEM. Came in great packaging and didn't require any work to install (no need to use a hair dryer like the after-market knock offs). Worth the extra money for the higher quality and ease of use.

I found this door seal for my Whirlpool Refrigerator for $240 at their website. I bought it for about $100 here. I'm relatively handy, but this is so easy, you don't have to be handy to install it. I watched a few YouTube Videos, you should too.This seal is shipped somewhat folded. I laid it flat on my counter and used my wife's hairdryer to get the wrinkles out. I let it sit flat for a day. Carefully pulled out the old seal which had started coming apart near the top where the two doors meet. Not hard to push this seal into the channel it's made to fit into. This gasket fit our Kitchenaid refrigerator perfectly and was very easy to install once it was allowed to "relax" on a flat surface in bright sunlight. The sun warmed the vinyl and it returned to its original shape. Installation involved pulling the old gasket off and pushing the new one on, simple as that.6 MONTH UPDATE- In less than 6 months the gasket is cracked and split. The original gasket lasted more than 10 years, this one didn't make it a full 6 months!

This item while expensive, goes on in three minutes. No tools needed. Provides a perfect seal for the refrigerator door, and shuts firmly. It is anticipated that the seal will eventually tear at spots where it wipes against the other door seal, and will eventually have to be replaced again. That's just a characteristic of the Kitchen-Aide, Whirlpool, and similar double door refrigerators.
