I have only used this one time, the carb yum feature, so there are supposedly 25% fewer carbs. The rice was perfectly cooked. I love how easy it is to clean, and I'll be careful not to scratch the non-stick surface. It is bigger than I needed, but it's still a nice small size and doesn't take up too much room on my counter. It is a well-made, quality-looking rice cooker. I research items I intend to purchase for months, and sometimes I just can't find what I want. This cooker checks all the boxes!!

I have been using this Yum Asia Rice cooker for 7 months and must say it cooks brown rice perfectly; the rice is well cooked, but has a fluffy finish and is never soggy. Future buyers must know that this rice cooker takes much longer to cook brown rice than other rice cookers I have used. A major problem with this rice is that only the Yum Carb functions (bottom left pink buttons for brown and white rice) are functional.
