Excellent rice cooker! The rice cooks perfectly and there isn't the stuck together at the bottom rice like with a cheap rice cooker, its good rice from to bottom. I haven't used it for anything else yet but look forward to trying the other use cases. The box and way it was packaged was also nice, as are the things that come with it. It looks good on the counter too. The feet are not very slide friendly though so you may want to get some small felt pads if you want to be able to pull it towards you as opposed to lift it towards you. This is an outstanding rice cooker. Seriously exceeded all of my expectations. I have cooked both long and short grained white and brown ice with outstanding results. Make sure you follow the instructions: amount of uncooked rice to the markings on the cooker inner pot and you can't go wrong. Don't try adding your water to the amount from a measuring cup like you are used to doing. The cooker uses steam which is different from the standard measure of one cup rice to two cups water. I think that paying that much for a cooker is kind of an investment in raising your cooking skills.In addition to

Keeps from accidentally starting good features. Sits on counter nicely with minimal space use. Cooking times vary by use and types. Makes excellent tasting rice.

Really happy with this rice cooker. My main reason for buying it was the bowl is ceramic coated rather than lined with a non-stick coating. The rice does not stick at all and the bowl is super easy to clean. I have a 2 person household so mostly do the 1 or 2 cup rice cooking options, which have both worked out great! The cooker is not very heavy and has a handle so it is easy to move anywhere you need it, which works great for me since I do not have a dedicated counter space for it, I just move it to my table when I need to use it. I definitely recommend this cooker!

My Zojirushi was dying so I had to get a replacement. Overall im happy but the keep warm setting dries out the rice a bit too easy and it can overcook if you're not careful.Its super versatile, easy to clean, high quality and reliable. But I also have to say that releasing the lid tends to let condensation run down into the heating element which is *bad*Pretty okay size, good conductive material. Overall a good buy.

At first bought the smaller model. But the veggie steamer was too small for 4 people. Got this bigger model now. Now all I got to cook is a meat while this cooks the rice and steams the vegetables.

Works very well. I replaced a zojirushie induction tgat shorted out. This is just as good. Did porridge for a week andvtoday a mix vanilla pound cake. Rice is next. Oddity is to wake the machine you touch the which is cancel!

I very much like this rice cooker and that there are not any aluminum parts in the cooking areas. Everything is very easy to clean by hand washing. I wish the cord was about 8 inches or so longer as while cooking steam comes out of the steam port which can damage my upper cabinets if I forget to turn the cooker with the steam port on the farthest edge of my counter which is a bit dangerous having it so close to the edge.The cooking pot having handles for easy removal is a plus.
