I purchased these to go with the ANNKE 3K Two-Way Audio Security Camera System (Model No. DW81KN1) so that I can add additional views of coverage. The cameras are wired and for me this is good as I prefer this over the solar or battery powered. The provided wires (cords) are more than long enough so no matter where you place them you will definitely have the amount of length that is needed. They are waterproof for sure. I bought an 8 channel Hybrid 5-in-1 DVR to replace my earlier model of Annke DVR. This new model supports 2-way communication when paired with ANNKE 2MP Two-Way Audio Wired Security Camera. Installation of the 2-way camera was a breeze as I just replaced an existing camera with the new one. Took me a little while figuring out how to do the 2-way communication between the camera and my phone but it works great now. This ANNKE C800 4k power over ethernet (PoE) security camera is working great. It is the first of several outside cameras I am running around our warehouse, and installing it was a breeze. I ran a single cat-5 cable to the back of the warehouse and added a 4-port POE switch (fortunately we have power outlets all throughout the warehouse) to power cameras on the back and sides of the building. Quite an extensive web interface, that does scream quality! But, does not connect as quick as the P2P HiChip devices, literally those are up in running in less then a minute. This took me a bit longer (15 minutes) because my subnet my cameras are on are on a different router address then what these come programmed on.I tried it on Blue Iris and TinyCam and this camera worked just fine.It does not work on CamHi or CamHiPro appThe image is very crisp and clear. The IR light is nice and strong. The POE works just fine.

These cameras are junk.i have multiple brands and this is by far the worst. Images are tolerable but no real detail. Don’t expect to read a license plate or even see what someone is stealing. The audio is crap. Sounds like you’re in a pool and someone is screaming as you slowly drown. Skip these.

The main reason for choosing this high-resolution Annke is PoE, compatibility, and >124° FOV. Annke is reliably consistent for delivering plug-and-play. It's up and running in less than an hour, line buzzing and sorting back in the closet being most of it. This was installed as an additional camera. The 3840x2160 captured image vastly improves electronic zooming resolution.As advertised. Better than expected.
