I wanted a smaller sound bar so looked at this Bose a the Sonos Gen 2. Rtings gives the Sonos a better score but the Bose beats it in every measurement.Was extremely easy to setup. Plug the power into the wall and plug the HDMI into the eARC hdmi on my TV and done. The app is simple and lets you make some minor adjustments but I honestly dont know how much each adjustment actually changes the sound.I have an Arendal theater setup in my living room and if you want movie theater like experience this Bose is not it I will be honest. Initial setup was a little frustrating due to lack of clear instructions to get settings done. will need to download and app. The sound is actually great, and it really doesnt need a sub if you dont have carpet in the room. Atmos works fine contrary to other reviewers. The material you are watching, as well as your tv have to be atmos enabled and content watching must include. if not, just like anything else, it doesnt play in atmos! I must say that I am deeply disappointed in the quality of the sound and the connectivity issues. Right out of the box, the remote control was half disassembled (the face fell right off).
