Got the Soundtouch IV at the weekend, delivered within 30 hours! Attractive and solid. Small footprint on my shelf.1) Connected to my wifi in less than 5 minutes; easiest set-up I've ever done. Just needed the wifi password.2) Small learning curve with the remote but then you realise it is cleverly designed. This was the best purchase I’ve ever made on Amazon. The box arrived 4 days earlier than expected, packed well in bubble wrap and peanuts. And is “like new” condition. The sound is awesome using radio, blue tooth from iphone, and from smart tv via aux cable. It took a little Google searching for Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connecting, but works fantastic a couple of hours later.

First, the complaint: The ONLY way to control almost all the radio's features is w/ the remote. The tiny, flat, very easily "misplaced" remote. No controls exist on the radio itself; so if you lose that remote, you're out of luck until you can replace it. This seems like a huge, asinine overlook on the part of Bose.Otherwise, the radio sounds rich and full, even when turned up loud. Bose's sound "blueprint" has always seemed (to me) to be heavy on the lows, heavy on the highs, and somewhat attenuated mids. I’m very happy with the SoundTouch IV. It has the features I wanted (radio, CD, bluetooth, WiFi) and provides rich sound easily moved to any room in the house. While initially concerned that the tone control was limited to bass normal/reduced, I found it adequate, using reduced mode for bass-heavy mixes.It’s great to be able to stream audio from my smart phone via bluetooth. I use it a lot to stream music and youtube videos. Once the connection is established, SoundTouch will reconnect automatically. Purchased Bose wave sound radio/cd player for Xmas gift. Sound quality is impressive for the size of the unit. Blue tooth feature is a nice bonus. Easy to program and play. Was skeptical of the price but satisfied with the purchase.
