I wanted a simple, easy to use, radio and CD player for the rare times that we are not watching TV. And I also needed it to have a clock. I keep it on top of the entertainment center, just under my wall mounted 58” TV in the living room. I’ve been using it for some time now. It worked great when I wanted to play all my Christmas CD’s. Very satisfied with this radio. The 10 watt speakers are plenty loud for a bedside radio. The controls and remote are fairly intuitive and the dimmer and sleep functions are a plus. I haven't tried the alarm yet because I generally use my phone for that. Glad I got this one. I liked it so much I also bought the larger model with 15 watt speakers for the living room. I highly recommend this radio.

FINALLY a radio/cd player that allows ME to control the bass and treble over my $500 Bose device which DOES NOT! And it features over 20 different radio stations whereas my Bose gives me only six! Clearly an excellent value!

Lasted 21/2 years . not very good. Remote is not good. For price in should have been better.

BUYER BEWARE!WISEST CD/Radio/Alarm ($70) Model 798 BROKE AFTER A FEW MONTHS. It wouldn’t turn on at the preset alarm time.Its also crazy difficult to set up- esp the alarm clock. I got it to work a couple of times then no go.Ai Co-Pilot said MANY OTHER CUSTOMERS SUFFERED THE SAME PROBLEMS.While Amazon saved the day and managed to provide a refund for meI WOULD AVOID WISCENT PRODUCTS BECAUSE THEY OFFER NO CUSTOMER SERVICE AT ALL.Very frustrating.I may buy a Jensen model through Amazon instead.

This product shows well in images, but in reality it is really cheaply made. At most, this should be a $19-$29 product. Sound quality is poor. I knew this would be the case because the product itself has no weight, which is usually a sign of whether it will sound tinny or not. At a lower price point, this would be an ok product. But for over $60.00 do yourself a favor and find a good Bluetooth speaker.

I’m enjoying this radio/cd player. I don’t have the best reception signal where I live but this radio works perfectly with no static or other problems. It has features I don’t use but other people with more “ techie” needs than I do might enjoy. I like the sleek appearance and it fits perfectly on my side table. I still listen to my CD’s and have had no issues with skipping.

item arrived in good shape, and setup was easy following easy to read instructions. Remote is a good touch. Good sound and a good bass can be added. Cat also gave a Sniff of approval.
