For $42, this is a great deal. This is not a high quality stereo. It is a run-of-the-mill unit, and it performs admirably in that respect.The remote is easy to operate once you learn the functions. The radio works well. It comes with a cord for auxiliary devices. I leave the cord attached to the radio. When I want to hook up my iPhone, I just plug it in, select Auxiliary, and play. It also plays CDs. System works really good, only thing is the remote is black and the lettering is very dark as well so reading what is on the remote can be difficult. How's about a white remote and dark lettering.

The sound quality is fine when you adjust it. It was very tinny sounding with a high treble on Rock, but when I changed it to Pop that got better. I was very disappointed in its functions, though. There are 20 presets for FM stations, but there is no way to go backward. So if I am listening to a station on preset 5 and I want to change to preset 3, I have to go forward all the way through the 20 presets to get to 3. I'm very unhappy with that because I have stations that I listen to at night and stations that I listen to during the day, so I want to be able to change them at will.As for the re

For years I had a huge old component stereo system in the living room of my apartment, which ended up going into the master bedroom when I bought my own house. It took up a lot of room and I needed the space for other bedroom type things - like a vanity - so I eventually, I got rid of it in favor of a smaller, very expensive (extremely heavy) famous brand name "sound system" machine. I bought this from a super store in October of 2010. I have it in my retail store hooked to a popular satellite radio. I play mostly the Old Time radio shows. It is on from 8am to 5pm, 7 days a week. Yes, for the last 2 years everyday. I have read many bad reviews about this product, but I have had zero problems with it.
