Bose SoundTouch 20 Wi-Fi Music System

sure, maybe a bit pricey, but it does all it is advsertised to do! fairly easy to set up on the wifi network, instructions were clear. Functionality if great, used Airplay yesterday and seemlessly streamed music from Ipod and Iphone onto the system too. listened to songs like "Hawaii 5-0 "theme song and (dating myself here) "More today than yesterday" by Spiral Staircase, and I was literally rockin' out with the great sounds from the system! Wifi radio works great, Pandora no problem, great sounds from a classic music station in the UK! Amazing so much good stuff from a unit this small!!!

This sound system is absolutely amazing. I just plugged it in and downloaded the sound touch ap from Bose. With no wires or separate speakers, the sound is wonderful and fills the space it occupies. If the volume is turned up, it can be listened to comfortably from another floor. It is easily set up to connect to a router and then can be controlled from a computer, an iPad or an iPhone. I purchased this with my siblings for our parents for Christmas. They have always wanted one but never could justify spending so much. The price is high, but if you love music and you want to hear it at its best, then buy this. Radio stations, CD's, and Pandora sounds amazing and the sounds does fill the room.The only negative thing about the product is the app is a little on the ugly side. Excellent unit.... it's a Bose. For apple devices to play music directly you MUST and can only use airplay, and you can only play on one of these units at a time. Your music library for streaming must be served up by a DLNA compliant server from an NAS or from a windows computer with media sharing turned on. With the streaming function you can link multiple SoundTouch systems together and control them from the Bose app. Radio reception is also good on these units, I live in the country so it has to be. :) As always the sound is impeccable. Although this is a quality product this one arrived in good packaging however, it skips on my CD and delays when starting to play and sometimes just stops in the middle of my listening pleasure. I purchased a CD cleaner and it continues to do the same. Reported the issue to the seller and they just recommended to buy a cleaner which did not solve the problem. Because Bose no longer makes this product, I was happy to be able to find one on the market, but it was used and it shows. Met all my expectations except for the fact that the Bose Wave Bluetooth adapter cannot be used with this unit. When placing the order the page stated that the adapter was frequently purchased along with this unit which led me to believe that the unit also included the Bluetooth option. This particular unit has AM and FM radio, Wi-Fi (with access to hundreds of radio stations) and a CD player.I returned the Bluetooth adapter and must say that Amazon’s return policy is very fast and simple. We have been using the unit for over a month and the sound is excellent.

I have only had the system for two days now, but I really love it. It works great and the sound is awesome I like being able to contol the system from an app on my phone. We bought the fm antenna but found that we did not need it. Even the channels with poor reception come in great. Bose also offers some online tips and videos, which I have not done yet but plan to. I wpould highly recommend this system to anyone looking for great sound and easy to use.

Great unbelievable sound, swear you are in a concert hall! It is easy to set up using the supplied software. The SoundTouch™ Wi-Fi works great – I listen to songs that are on my computer through Windows Media Player, Pandora, and from any other internet radio stations that I find on the net (including Range Radio).
