Good Sound, Lots of Input Options
We purchased this HANLIM Stereo System to replace an OLD stereo that we utilized to play music from our OLD iPod (do you remember those?). With the loss of support for iPod in any format, the music contained there cannot be recovered. No one makes a system anymore that is made specifically to attach an iPod. This stereo, however, has many functional options to choose from.We are able to use the AUX In function to at least get the music to play, although we have to use the iPod to start, stop, etc. So, we are happy with that.The sound quality of the provided speakers is adequate, considering th

Not What it Should Be
1I like this and will keep it but, at this price point, I expected a bit more. I have set it up in a large bathroom; here are the pluses and minuses. + It is is nice looking and small enough to use on a small shelf. +At low volume, the sound is rich (which is fine for me as I don't want loud music in the bathroom anyway). - The speaker wire is only about 3 feet long; I added speaker wire to extend the distance to about 10 feet for each speaker and it worked just fine, with better stereo effect. - As you turn the volume up, distortion creeps in, especially in the bass. - The preset treble/bass

Stand-by mode to "off" is annoying.
Overall great system! I think the sound system is pretty good and works very nicely with the BT. My only two complaints are once the unit is off (stand-by mode), and then you turn it back on after an extended period of time (meaning the system is "off" and not in stand-by mode which I think happens after about 15 minutes), the volume goes back up to 6 even though I always set it at 1 (loud enough for my room). Also, when in "off mode", it appears the remote doesn't work and you have to turn it on at the console. Neither one of these are huge issues but just annoying.

Not 100% reliable
Got this yesterday. And the only reason I'm keeping it is it does the one thing I wanted it to do. It connects to my mp3 player via Bluetooth. These 2 things absolutely love each other. It sounds great and I basically have my own radio station with 56gigs of music. Now for the bad. My radio stations don't come very well so I would have to figure out a better antenna if I wanted to use it for that. 2nd I have yet to find a cd that will load. 3rd I originally tried the auxiliary with mp3 player. No sound. Bluetooth saved this thing. It paired in less then 5 seconds and I'm really happy with the
