Sony CMTSBT100 Micro Music System with Bluetooth and NFC

Update 01/29/2019: The fact that the system takes a ridiculous amount of time to discover the tracks on a USB stick or a CD is very disappointing. I turn it on but then have to watch it count every single track before I can press play. The system turns off altogether if I walk away and wait too long after it has completed its counting. Once it turns itself off, the system needs to be powered on again and go through the exact same counting process all over again. It is very annoying. My flash drive has hundreds of tracks on it so it takes a great deal of time for the display to show 1, 2, 3, 4.

I purchased the Sony CMTSBT100 Music System about 6 months ago. I am very pleased with the system, and would recommend it to anyone.It may not be the loudest stereo system, but at 74 loud sound is not one of my concerns. I have turned the volume up to 20. Think the volume goes to 30, but 20 is more than enough for me, and I usually leave it at about 15, which is loud enough for me.The rich sound blew me away. Orchestra music like Boston Pops and 101 Strings really sounds great. I love listening to singers like Frank Sinatra and Diana Krall, since it is also great for vocals.Bluetooth was easy

Strengths are simplicity and good sound quality. Easy to set up, easy to operate. CD's from the Clash to Tony Bennett sound good, as does FM radio. AM radio, if you are lucky enough to get clear reception, also has a strong, pleasing sound quality.Great little remote control and super easy interface. I’ve used this system for the past 2-3 years to stream music over Bluetooth and lately as a CD player.All things considered, it’s a great micro hi-fi system and I do recommended for the combination of sound quality, features and value it provides.Let’s actually start with its flows after 2 years of use:- CD player is very slow - it’s takes several seconds to open CD tray and once CD is loaded, it takes about 10 seconds to read it- It takes a long time for a system to initialize once turned on. Sony CMTSBT100 Micro Music System with Bluetooth and NFCI received my stereo a couple of days ago, and I am enjoying the use of it. Not only was it easy to set up, but it has an attractive finish, and smaller than I had expected. The wires for the speaker were of good length and once I found out where the red tab was for the wire, I was able to insert it into the right hole and get the speakers hooked up on the first go. The thing I liked most about the system is the Bluetooth. This allowed both my iphone and laptop computer to be connected wirelessly. Though the iphone connected quite quickly

First off, big thanks to everyone who posted their reviews. I did find that the CD player will take a few seconds to read a CD before it plays and it doesn't pick up up where it left off after you power on. The system will power down after when not in use and even when your CD is on pause. I didn't time it, mainly because these are minor issues at least for me. The remote is awesome. Over several years of owning and heavily using this unit, I say it's worth it. Excellent beginner audiophile system. May lack a some of the lower end you'd get with three way speakers or a subwoofer, but it actually packs quite a punch and has a surprising amount of boom to it. This mighty little stereo is ideal for small to medium sized rooms. It won't rattle your house by any means, but it is quite loud and audible throughout it. This is actually the Second unit i bought because the First one was for my Work Holiday party. I liked it so much that i actually Got one for my own use. For the price you get Great sound, ( there is a bass boost function that mostly makes up for no Sub) it will connect to almost any device with all the options for I/Os and the Main unit is like the thickness of 2 hardback books!! Only Negative i would say is that since the remote is so small.. . they made some of the function access a bit convoluted.. but once you are set up with your favorite settings you don't have to bother with it again.
