Bose® Solo/CineMate® Universal Remote

Seems to be working properly.

This is hands-down the BEST remote I've ever used. It was simple & easy to set up and it operates my Bose Solo sound system, plus my TV, Cable1 dvr and my dvd player. The price was great and the product is outstanding. Most universal remotes fail to control one or two functions on something I'm using. This one doesn't. It has all functions with the single exception of not opening the disc tray on my dvd player and it might do that if I knew which button to press. I can't say enough good about it!

This universal remote takes a little getting used to, but once you do it is a great solution to the clutter of multiple remotes and devices.Pros:- Quick access to all devices- Multiple options for controlling multiple devices (integrates well with cable boxes and blu-ray players)- Lit device button indicators clearly showing which item you are managing- Volume is automatically setup for Solo, a great feature!- Comes with batteries!!Cons:- Need to use multiple codes for your devices to find the right one (more so that other universal remotes i've seen)- The main "power" button controls the Bose

I'm sure this is a great remote for some, however in my case it was unacceptable. I purchased this in an attempt to have one remote to control the new Bose Solo, lg smart tv and Sony blu ray player. This remote is utterly incapable of controlling any smart tv, unless all you want to do is turn the tv on and off. If you are like me and looking for one quality remote to replace the stack of remotes on your coffee table I would look in the direction of Logitech and not waste your time on this one.

This remote is not only EXTREMELY easy to program it has the solid build quality that you would expect. So happy with this purchase... and who normally raves about a remote?!?! I have the Bose Solo so I can't speak to connectivity with other Bose devices but the user manual speaks specifically of the Bose Solo system so I have to believe there might be truth that it doesn't work with anything but... I love the Bose Solo system though because I live in an apt complex and cant have too much bass so its clarity and rich sound work perfectly for my setting.

Works as expected on the Cinemate!

This remote was purchased to replace the tiny remote that came with my Bose sound system. I wanted something larger that wouldn't get lost in the sofa cushions and go missing for days. It certainly works, right out of the box, to control the Bose unit with no programming necessary. It has the functions to control your other devices, but beware if you set it up to do so. I paired it with my Samsung television and when the remote is idle, i.e. no being used to raise or lower volume, it takes on a life of its own and starts randomly controlling the television. I need to click another function but
