My husband is hard of hearing and this makes it easier to understand what people are saying. Easy to use, my only complaint is the writing on the remote is very difficult to read. Easy to connect. All in all a good value for the money.

This TV Speaker is a dream. I think the sound does live up to Bose's name, especially if you're buying this for TV sound enhancement and balance. It equalizes the dialog with the background music and sound effects very well. I was able to turn the volume down and turn off the subtitles. The HDMI connection produces better sound than the optical connection (which is still quite good!). But you do need to go into your TV settings and turn off your TV speakers and turn on CEC Input/HDMI if it is off by default like mine was; otherwise, no sound will come out of the speaker. It wasn’t as simple to setup as I thought it would be because it had an HDMI cable. ChatGPT help me troubleshoot the no sound. My TV had settings that had to be changed. It works great and the Bose sound quality is wonderful.

Do Not Buy from them.Sound bar didn’t sound great so I returned it using their shipping label. Over a month later they tell me they never received and can’t issue a refund.
When I purchased this product for $300 however one week later the soundbar was selling for $209. I tried returning it so I could purchase it for the reduced price however the seller wanted to charge a restocking fee of 15% plus shipping. After calculating the return cost it became moot. The procuct it's self is okay however without a subwoofer you mimd as well use your TV speakers.
