I was looking for a router that didn't have WiFi because I believe it's not healthy to be exposed to WiFi radiation all the time. This router is perfect for my needs! It's super fast and easy to set up. I plugged a WiFi router into one of the extra WAN outlets, so I can have WiFi when I need it, but I can also unplug it when I don't. This is a great way to reduce my exposure to WiFi radiation. The router is also very small and compact, so it doesn't take up much space. The price is also VERY reasonable. UPDATE: I received an email reply from Cudy technical support a couple of business days after sending my inquiry. They very helpfully provided the steps required to configure the router in failover mode according to my requirements. The process, while not intuitive, was easy to understand and execute. They also provided what appeared to be a subsection of a user manual, that covered the WAN settings.Editorial comment: I've tried a couple of multi-WAN routers, and the failover function consistently seems cryptic / non-intuitive to implement, or poorly documented. I bought this for our home network, which has Spectrum main and Verizon 4G LTE backup Internet services. The Spectrum service is delivered through a cable modem in bridge mode to WAN1 of the Cudy R700, and the Verizon Business Gateway is set for IP pass-through on WAN2. The R700 has a standard GUI that is easy to access and the various settings are easy to adjust. As some others have noted, those among us that want to use an unlimited bandwidth main Internet connection and a capped backup connection suffer from a lack of information. I used this to provide failover function for my home network which uses Starlink for primary and a cell phone hotspot for backup. This device works exceptionally well with little setup (only had to set the WAN2/backup metric setting to 2, ping frequency to 1 second, ping failure threshold to 10, and setup IP addresses as I use static IP). It reliably detects link failure within 10 seconds (seems like less though haven't timed it precisely) and switches to the backup link. When the primary link is restored, it switches back within seconds. Most times, I don't even notice the failover operation.

Worked great for a little over a month. Then I started experiencing drops of 15 to 30 seconds, sometimes longer. At first I thought it was my ISP and thought nothing of it. Finally called my ISP and they stated no issues, so I reverted back to my old router and boom troubles went away. I reconnected the R700 and within 30 minutes it started dropping again. I emailed Cudy support who sent me an updated Firmware file to try and that did not work, same problems. I think it's a physical problem with the port and their support while they did respond lacks as they are overseas, I'll email them at 6A
