Cudy Outdoor 4G LTE AC1200 Wi-Fi Router, IP65, PoE, LT500 Outdoor

Finally got my Cudy LT500 Outdoor cellular router installed. Here are some good and not so good things about it.First, the bad:* It is an older unit so it is only 4G LTE and even there is only, if I recall correctly, group 4. So it is not future proof and not super high speed.* It claims to be okay for outdoor use but seems to lack some weather proofing. I added O-rings to the antenna connectors and I used plastic electrical tape over the joint where the wire cover attaches to the body of the router.* It has an average set of controls for LAN setup.* The wall mount screw setup a bit substandar

Worked for just over a month and then did nothing but 1 light flashing. No customer support this thing is a toy. Returned with the help of Amazon and then they shorted me around $45 on the refund. So they are making revenue on nothing. DON'T BUY! SPEND EXTRA AND GET SOMETHING THAT WORKS AND HAS CUSTOMER SUPPORT. You are welcome

First of all, I would like to make mention about this product it does have some pros and cons.Here is my list of recommendation of pros and cons.PROS: This product has a SIM card slot for your SIM card, so it's SIM ready for accessing the Internet in remote locations.CONS: The product doesn't reach 500ft. and poor reception and has some interference.PROS: This product offers VPN.CONS: Not very much VPN companies to choose from.PROS: I like that the interface is organized.CONS: There is no manual for the system setup.

obviously being 4G its limited by the technology as far as up down speeds, but pings and webpage loading is very snappy. AT&T is all I can Speak for. if this is for indoor use (window or wall mount) it covers 40' through multiple walls easily. I dont know bubble reception for Wi-Fi in an outdoor setting as its designed for. cell reception was about the same as a phone. setup is very easy, but I recommend setting it up directly hooked to a computer. Wi-Fi or through a router could be problematic. If it feels expensive it is, but you aren't buying a simple hotspot, you are buying a direct compet

Added this to my RV/Camper instead of getting the Wingate Air 360 LTE version. I put in a Mint car sim card and after a quick setup and configuration with my laptop, I had nice signal strength and wifi for my camper.

Super easy to setup, works great. Only issue was the WiFi password which I found from other reviews is "password". Got 55M down and 36M up on my Mint card. Could watch 4k videos no problem and my Reolink camera worked with it no issues.
