    Good for the price

    This was a replacement for my 10 year old Inspiron I5 running Windows 10 that developed a failure. I was not happy to be left with no choice but to migrate to 11, but after researching various ways to limit its control, I am satisfied with the results. Works very well, and runs fast after shutting down or removing unnecessary background apps. I would purchase this Dell again. Just remember, check what is running with TM weekly, and clean out the needless junk MS installs with the updates.

    Very Loud fan

    I ordered this for my daughter to take to college. Based on the specs, it’s better than other comparable HP products for the same price, so we went with this one. I personally normally buy HP. Everything works fine and it seems to be user friendly. The backlit keyboard is a very nice touch. The only downside is the fan is VERY loud! You can hear it running from across the room. I’ve never had a laptop this loud! We considered returning it, for this reason, but she started school within a week of it arriving, so she’s dealing with it. During lectures it’s noticeable and distracting to her.

    Speedy delivery

    I was really surprised how quickly it came. The computer itself is way faster than my old laptop. I did get rid of Onecloud because it wanted to put everything on cloud and then sell you storage. But that was about the only bloat ware I got rid of.

    Don’t buy

    WiFi drops every few minutes on this Dell 15 DC15250 while every other device stays connected. Tried all the usual fixes (drivers, BIOS, power management, network reset). Cheap Realtek WiFi card appears to be the problem. Don’t buy, save yourself a headache.

    Mouse pad

    It is a good computer, except if you're used to a mouse pad with the two buttons. I think the pad on mine might be faulty because the left corner of the pad is way too stiff to push. Whereas the right side seems okay. This is disappointing and I might have to send it back.
