This monitor is impressive...very impressive.First, its huge. 34" is a lot of space when it's sitting on your desk! I got this very specifically for my 3d printing hobbies to use on the laptop I use for all my pinters, and my "workshop" is in our basement, which doesn't have a ton of room. This Dell Monitor is GORGEOUS! The clarity is incredible,and setup was a breeze! The stand is 2 pieces. You simply screw one into the other, hook the monitor on to it which pops right in and you're done...nothing more! Truly plug and play.With this 34" screen and standard 100% font size, there's no problem reading the text at 3440x1440 resolution. I was super excited to get this monitor and try it out, as I have never owned a curved monitor before and wanted a nice new monitor for my new desk when we moved. This was delivered and both the Amazon box and the Dell box showed no damage, and when I unpacked it, all of the seals were still intact, and there was no evidence of any sort of damage to the screen. This is a big monitor, or more specifically, a very wide monitor, which is exactly what I expected. I picked this up to use primarily in the family room. I bought several different monitor sizes for different locations, with schoolwork being the primary use along with some light gaming.The picture quality has been great, and the colors look very good. The included stand is also better than I expected. It holds the monitor securely and makes it extremely easy to tilt the screen or raise and lower it. First of all, don't let the "thunderbolt" designation fool you into thinking this is a Mac-only device. It is equally compatible in a PC setup, and is a fantastic monitor!!Very high quality picture...I calibrated it and it passed with flying colors. I often work with clients in my studio, so I have a vertically stacked monitor system that you can see in the attached photo.
