Would grt cold. Then sfter a month and battle to get someone there. Then it got so cold the water and ice stopped working because the pipe froze. Finally adjuster the temperature to bares minimum and they started working again. But the items crisper draw still freezer. Amazing
If I could I would give it less than 1 star. Mine is 6 months old the customer service is the absolute worst the ice maker is broken. The repairman said 3 to 5 business days, now it’s we will let you know. I’m imploring you buy any brand but this one.
I have had my Frigidaire refrigerator for 13 years. It has broken twice before and I was able to fix it, the defroster drain clogged and then the water filter assembly leaked. This time, the refrigerator suddenly (in a few hours) stopped cooling and the freezer only cools to 15 deg. With temperatures in the 90’s, the only good option is to quickly buy another brand for thousands of dollars. Yes, “the average life” is 10-15 years, but that is buy design. I have a 25 year old Kenmore that has never had a problem.The lower freezer on the Frigidaire is poorly designed. Ice from the ice maker falls
1) Smudgeproof, I think not. I clean it everytime I dispense water and because of the poor design of the water dispenser it spits water everywhere.2) Refrigerator consistemtly freezes everything at the back...on shelves, crisper. Totally inconsistent3) Secondary Ice maker loads up ice past the bail intended to stop it and ice goes everywhere when you open the freezer door.4) Seals for the freezer aren't working correctly and we have "wet" ice5) Poorly placed water filter.6) Our crisper has a bizarre designed upper bracket/shelf they call it a cover plate broke within the firstyear. If you’re buying for the ice maker, get another fridge. This thing breaks constantly.
They use to be a reliable brand but not anymore. I had it serviced 4x when it was just 6 months old. Then parts had to be replaced. Called their customer service they were the worst. Then several thousand dollars later I have to defrost it 3x per week.
Worst brand for customer service. Lots of reviews and issues with this brand online. Google Frigidaire fridge corrosion. There were also recalls for the ice maker breaking plastic into the ice. Mine lasted less than 8 years. Leaked all over the floor ruining my tiles and cabinets.
