GIGABYTE GA-Z270P-D3 LGA1151 Intel Z270 2-Way Crossfire ATX DDR4 Motherboard

This board worked perfectly out of the box. I installed a Western Digital 512GB M.2 drive and loaded a new Windows 10 install from CD with no issues at all. The RAM is Corsair RGB 3600 mhz and the processor is an Intel i7 7700. I am using an older Gigabyte R9 290 graphics card but the system plays Project Cars at full detail with no issues at all. I have been using it for about 3 weeks now and couldn't be happier.Using the Corsair Link utility I am able to monitor the temps of the board at various locations as well as the CPU, GPU and RAM itself. This board worked perfect from the start. I did update the bios first thing and then set up the pc. I know the draw of this board is being able to use 3 graphics cards without a riser. My only issue there was not a problem with the board, but the case I tried it in was too small to allow 3 cards to fit. I moved it to a larger case and everything fit just fine. I had a Biostar board that this board replaced, and the bios in it seemed wonky and unintuitive. This bios was easy and I was up and going with no problems. If I need more mb's, I would not hesitate to order this again.

Works decent for the price

I always go with Gigabyte as they just seem to work and have what I need for a good price. Went with this socket 1151 Z270 board for first 7th generation i5 build as it also supports m.2 nvme solid state drive and the yet to be released Optane drive from Intel. Working great so far with MyDigitalSSD M.2 NVME 480gb drive and 16gb of DDR4 2400 ram. Thanks.

A fantastic motherboard! I set up a 6 card mining rig with this and everything worked straight out of the box -- didn't have to screw around in the BIOS or anything! Considering the hassle I went through with Biostar's TB250-BTC Pro, of which I later determined had a dead 16x PCIe port (and subsequently returned), this was the kind of easy install I was hoping for!

If you are looking to build a PC for the first time this is a great option. It is very user friendly and easy to work with, offers plenty of room for expansion supporting Crossfire and SLI and up to 64GBs of RAM supported, and should handle most reasonable jerks from unsteady hands. The only things I can really find wrong with it (outside of the memory speeds needing to be adjusted out of the box), is the lack of USB type C. Also although it isnt really necessary having extra fan connectors and M.2 drive slots would have been nice. Still, for the price it is a great deal for what you get and i

If your looking for a Motherboard that will work with the last generation of Intel CPU that is compatible with Windows 7 then this is it. This will work with a Gen 7 Intel I5 series CPU. I know some people will read this and wonder why that is important. Well some of us still have legacy software that will not work properly under Windows 10 or we simply do not want windows 10 for other reasons.

Building a new system put it all together and no post and the power lights on the motherboard did a weird blinking like it was not getting stable power. So I listened to my brand new psu and its power was blinking as well so I figured ok bad power supply.... wrong! After I RMA my psu got a new one and bought a new brand psu as a back up the thing still did the same thing as the first blinking power no post no beeps nothing... So I RMA the board got a brand new one (both boards are new factory sealed boards btw) hooked ot up and bam!!! Same issue I'm like wtf... So ordered a totally new board o
