HD 1080P 7 Inch Wireless Backup Camera for Truck: 15-Min Easy to Install

My husband installed this on his pick up and I love it. You can leave it on while you’re driving forward and you’re able to see everything behind you with it or you can shut it off and only use it when you actually back up. The picture is very clear.

Camera installation was fairly easy, although I did have to create a hole to feed the wires through to get to my desired power source. The wires are too small for any of the wire strippers I have but I was able to get the insulation off by careful use of a pocket knife. The screen is large and reasonably good. In my experience, suction cup mounts don’t work particularly well, and this one is no exception. I have it mounted low on my dash with Velcro and it does not interfere with forward vision. I have wasted four hours trying to get this system to work. It only worked when I tested it right out of the box and wired directly from camera to monitor. I attached the camera brackets to my license plate and ran the very thin power wires to my backup lights. I wanted the camera to run when I put the vehicle in reverse. After I had all of the wiring tucked and tied the monitor got no signal. I hooked the camera up to my battery charger to make sure it was getting 12 volts DC. The monitor still displayed “No Signal”. Work’s just like advertised! Easy to install screen & plug in. Installed behind license plate & wired to back up lights in a trailer plug. Screen is clear & is much safer than just mirrors. I’m really enjoying it.

Screen was clear the price was good it appeared good quality I didn't hook up to truck wiring I used the 12 battery or you could plug into power station that way the camera stays on all the time unless u unplug don't forget it could run your battery down brightness was good also

I tried extension mirrors, I couldn't see any better behind that without, maybe a larger view.I searched hard and finally ended with this backup, rear view camera system. The camera is simply wired into my licence plate light, so it is always on when driving and I don't have to worry about charging.
