Good value for a replacement DVR
My older Annke DVR died and purchased this unit to replace it. So far I'm impressed. The recorded video from my 3MP cameras is better than the original DVR. A big feature for me was a fast maximum playback speed. In addition to normal security use, I use my system to monitor vegetable gardens to see pests (mostly rodents) so that I can try to prevent them from getting in the raised beds. I was happy to discover that this unit has a max play back speed of 256x so that I can quickly get to the point where rat eyes are seen. Great Security DVR
This is a great security DVR. It fits our needs perfectly. It works with my older cameras and new pan/tilt cameras. I am using 8 of the 16 channels now. It has all the video outputs that I need to monitor the system at different locations in our home. I use the vga, hdmi and bnc outputs. The phone app is really easy to setup so that we can monitor the system on our phones when we are away. We love to be able to see our dogs when they are outside too. The 4TB hard drive I installed was easy to do with the included cables and hardware.

Crashed 2 times in 1 year and can't reset.
Bought a system about 1 year ago and has crashed twice now it cant reset. I am now having to replace the dvr. Bad experience.
