I was looking for a range hood that had the most suction power and this one had by far the highest CFM compared to other ones I looked at. I used to have a microwave w/ a fan above my stove that probably sucked up only about 70% of the smoke and that's after I installed a "hood extender" to the bottom to catch the smoke. The microwave just wasn't strong enough and the big burners on my stove are in the front. Probably would have done a better job if the big burners were in the back but still probably wouldn't have captured all the smoke.This hood is so much more powerful and sticks out further

An excellent hood for the money. The stainless steel is of good quality. The packaging/box was excellent and the hood arrived in perfect condition. All outward-facing stainless steel surfaces are wrapped in protective wrapping that peels off with a fair amount of effort.As for performance, the fan works well and the various speeds allow me to choose what is needed for the particular cooking session. We had this vent hood for few weeks now, I love how this one is not too loud. I do lot of Indian cooking and this vent hood helps not to spread the flocked around my entire home. Like the little sensor thing and 4 speed setting options

Works very well and is very powerful. Only downside is that it’s hard to get a replacement filter that fits this fume hood exactly. I have to contact the original manufacturer for these specific filters

We are very happy with our purchase of a 30" HisoHu wall mounted range hood. It was easy to install, keeps odors at bay by keeping the air clean when cooking, fairly quiet except for the highest fan setting (to be expected), easy to clean and maintain. We haven't had any other before this one, and are very satisfied.

The jury is still out on this one! However, I live in Alaska and the ability to return it is non-existent. So, I have to make it work. It is packed well, and looks nice right out of the box. Upon unpacking the unit, there are several parts and a small package of hardware. However, there are NO assembly or installation instructions!! You have to figure this out yourself. Who knows if you are doing it correct? There is still one plate that I haven't yet figured out. This range hood has an excellent exhaust system: efficient air flow at all speeds, grease or food smell if any, get trapped in the stainless steel filters and not on the inner walls inside the hood. And the filters go in the the dishwasher! Perfect!
