These knives are sharp, sharp, Sharp! Which is Fantastic! However, I thought was being careful; I had my reading glasses on, but I still sliced my thumb a bit. My fault, not the sellers! After I initially washed & dried them, I put the projective guard tips back on them and then put the sheaths I purchased separately on them. This set Foes come with temporary cardboard sheaths though, so they will protect these Beautiful knives & yourself.I was surprised at the wait because they I wouldn’t say heavy, but they’re not light either. They’re a very nice weight in your hand nice size for the set. I

The knife gets high points just for the "cool" factor. It's quite an eye-catching knife and a real conversation starter. As to the quality, it's adequate for the price range. It seems sturdy enough and the wood handle looks nice. The tang goes entirely through the handle, which should make the handle quite strong and there is a hole on the back end of the tang if you want to hang the knife up. The blade, upon arrival, is not razor sharp so it took a little honing to get it sharp. It is usable as is but I prefer my knives to be very sharp.
