UPDATE: 2/11/26:We've used this frequently over the last year. Still love it. Rice never sticks and cooks perfectly. I hand wash the insert and simply wipe down the interior after each cook. One added caveat to what I originally noted below is that it has a removable cord. I often forget that it has a removable cord - so while in theory it's nice for storage - I don't particularly like it. I've moved it on a couple of occasions while it's been cooking and forgot to hold the cord in place so it wiggled free and turned off mid cook. This thing is great! Can confirm it accomplishes being nonstick. So glad someone thought to figure out how to do it without coatings that wear off into your food. Very happy with it!

Same issue as others. After a few months that o ring comes loose and is impossible to place back. It’s like the ring swells over time and pops out. So putting it back in won’t work, it’s to large. Bad design.

The cooker is good and innerpot is too good.The steamer basket is not as strong as the innerpot( it’s very feeble) can be made better.I wished this cooker inner was almost as good as instapots. I’ll keep the cooker only for the inner pot quality and the functionality. This is a great rice maker. I spent a lot of time trying to find a decent rice maker that had a stainless steel pot. I try to avoid anything with plastics and coatings of any kinds. Heat and coatings do not mix in my book - why expose yourself to potential toxins if you don't have to? The 316L stainless steel pot is very durable and of highest quality. The stainless steel bowl that's made 'non-stick' by a pattern on the surface (NOT by a coating, yippee!), I really like. It's amazing to clean and wonderful to use.
