LG Electronics AJU72992601 Refrigerator Water Inlet Valve

I purchased this item to replace the 10 year old version of this item that failed in my LG refrigerator. This appears to be an OEM part at a fantastic price. It was very easy to install (use the installation video for the “Lg Refrigerator Water Inlet Valve OEM Part” on Appliance Parts Pro dot com video). My refrigerator works beautifully now!

I purchased this pump because my LG French Door refrigerator's water dispenser stopped working. At first the water would trickle out which I assumed was due to a clogged filter. After replacing the filter and still getting low flow, I thought maybe the tubing in the back was clogged so I replaced this as well. When I realized there was nothing left to replace, I searched for the pump. At first I could not seem to find the exact pump. Works well as a replacement part

First, I gotta say “Thanks Amazon” for the same day delivery.My LG LFXS26973S /01 refrigerator was leaking underneath recently. A couple of years ago, it leaked from the water supply line connection to the refrigerator not the LG refrigerator. It did the damage to the cabinet and the celling below. It was fixed by replacing the shutoff valve on the water supply line.When the ceiling below showed the prominent old stain marks again recently (maybe for a while), I decided to pull the refrigerator out of its cabinet to check it out. The floor was wet and the hardwood floor was soaked and warped.

I am going to enjoy writing this review because I have water and ice cubes again. I am unsure if I would buy this brand LG refrigerator again because either the price for repair was outrageous or the parts were a pain. Confirmed on multiple sites this was the correct part # to replace my leaking unit on my LG model # LFX25975ST/03. Watched the DIY videos, looked and was a piece of cake to install. Observed the units were visually different prior to installation, but went ahead anyway given all the 5 star reviews. After installation had water again for 60 seconds, then threw a 'C1' error code (non-descript).
