The OEM filter is more expensive, but the water quality is much better. Trust me, don’t cheap out, get a genuine LG filter. Use the subscribe and save so you never forget to replace it. It’s definitely worth the extra money, you know exactly what you’re getting with an authentic filter.
I learned my lesson trying to be cheap last time, with an aftermarket water filter. So this time I bought the brand name and surprise!! It fits perfectly; no funny taste, and NO LEAKS! 🥳🥳🥳With that being said, there's no replacement for quality filters, it's compatibility was flawless, it popped right in. The water tastes great now and I couldn't be happier. So do yourself a favor and buy the brand name. You can thank me later!!
Works great. My water taste much better now. We have hard water and it works good for that.
The filter is fine; we have to replace our fridge filter every 6 months. It’s not cheap, but ordering from Amazon is convenient. The paper insert has faulty directions for removing and installing. The direction is incorrect on the paper, so follow the label on the filter itself.
