Updated Review - 7/2021:I have now recently ordered this filter and returned it three times this week. I ordered these filters to replace a LT600P filter in a LG refrigerator. The filters are physically exactly the same as the OEM filter and the replacement instructions are identical. The temperature and flow specifications are the same also. They come well protected in shrink wrap with a cap over the two o-ring connector. Installation is very easy. The filters come with date stickers that you can use as a 6-month replacement reminder.The difference between these filters and the OEM one is the filtration capability. Update 9/19/21: I just purchased another one of these filters. This is the first time since 2012 that I purchased this genuine LG filter since 2012, when I also purchased that one from Amazon. Since that 2012 purchase, I have bought "off brand" replacement filters for this fridge from Amazon. Problem with the off brands was that every time I went to purchase a new one, the brand I bought last time was no longer available. As the headlines states, this new LG 5231JA2006F filter is a newer, improved version of the previous 5231JA2006A and 5231JA2006B filters, with greater contaminant reduction than the older models.
